Throughout several Alpine and Carpathian protected areas and natural sites, young people will go out and explore nature, sharing a physical, human, cultural and artistic experience in the mountains. The common theme of the 11th edition is 'Our Footprints in the Alps'.

“Youth at the Top” is a contribution to the Alpine Convention 
Gozd ima v Triglavskem narodnem parku v Sloveniji pomembno vlogo, saj gre za območje, kjer se gozdovi razprostirajo na kar 70 odstotkih površine parka in so dom številnih živalskih vrst. Z otroki iz Biosfernega območja Julijske Alpe (MAB Unesco) se bomo odpravili skozi gozd na vrh ter se vmes naučili o živalskih in rastlinskih vrstah, ki živijo v alpskem gozdu. Spoznali bomo, da je gozd del širšega ekosistema ter spoznali kako pomembno vlogo ima za človeka.
