2024 edition

In 2024, the 10th edition of Youth at the Top brought together 350 young people who explored the Alps and Carpathians. Across nearly thirty locations, they took part in local events, discovering the nature, beauty and heritage of these mountain regions.

 

Chránená krajinná oblasť Horná Orava (SK)

We will visit natura 2000 meadow habitats, where we will observe and identify plant and insect species. We will go to a nearby apiary to visit a local beekeeper who will tell us about honey bee breeding in Orava. If we are lucky, we would like to visit a beekeeping museum in nearby Poland.
