Diese erlebnisreiche Expedition führt uns vom Klostertal vorbei an den Eisentaler Spitzen mitten ins Europaschutzgebiet Verwall. Auf unserer Erkundungstour durchstreifen wir wilde Bergwälder, saftige Bergwiesen und schroffe Felsformationen und erfahren dabei Spannendes über den Lebensraum Alpen und seine tierischen Bewohner. Unser Etappenziel – die Neue Reutlinger Hütte - liegt in der so genannten Wildebene inmitten einer beeindruckenden Bergkulisse. Zur Abend-, Nacht- und Morgenzeit erleben wir den Berg dann von einer ganz anderen Seite – dieses Wechselspiel von Licht und Schatten werden wir auch künstlerisch gestalten und festhalten. Mit einem Rucksack voller neuer Eindrücke geht es dann am nächsten Morgen wieder bergab in das malerische hintere Silbertal. Unsere Expedition - von Tal zu Tal, von Nord nach Zentral - ist damit perfekt! Für alle Gipfelstürmer ab 13 Jahren!

Wanderung ins so genannte „Haindlkar“, Übernachtung in der Haindlkarhütte (ÖAV), Sternenhimmel; Programmgestaltung in der „Alpinwerkstatt“, Handyfreie Zone, am nächsten Tag Wanderung über´s Gseng ins Johnsbachtal. Fotodokumentation; eventuelle Landart;

Entlang der Grenze der beiden Nationalparkländer Kärnten und Tirol begegeben wir uns auf eine Reise in die Gipfelwelt der Hohen Tauern, Ziel ist der 2.401 m hohe Straßkopf am Eingang der Schobergruppe. Vom Gipfel aus werden wir mit Fackeln die Kärntern "Youth at the top" Teilnehmer grüßen

„Sonnenuntergangstour Mohar – 360° Nationalpark“

Der Ablauf ist wie folgt geplant:
Anreise 12. Juli 2016 bis 11:00 Uhr,
Treffpunkt: Nationalpark Hohe Tauern; „Alte Schmelz“, 9843 Großkirchheim, Döllach 14. Begrüßung, Fahrt ins Astental, Mittagessen, Abendwanderung zum Mohar (Jause besorgen wir vor der Fahrt ins Astental). Übernachtung Sadnighaus

Frühstück Sadnighaus, danach kurzer Rundgang am Astner Moos, Fahrt nach Winklern,
Besichtigung der Kristallausstellung im Mautturm.

Ein gemeinsames Erlebnis in den Alpen mit einer Gruppe Jugendlicher betreut vom Verein Kinderhilfswerk. Wir werden gemeinsam den Gipfel des Kammerlinghorn erklimmen und den umwerfenden Ausblick auf die umliegende Berge geniessen. Der Abstieg wird uns an naturbelassenen Biotopen und Landschaftselemten vorbei führen. Gemeinsames jausnen köstlicher Naturpark Spezialitäten gibt uns ausreichend Kraft für die Bergtour. Nächtens werden wir uns künstlerisch-kreativ dem Schreiben mit Licht widmen. Es soll eine gemeinsame und unvergessliche Zeit für die Jugendlichen in den Bergen werden.

Dogodek, ki ga na pobudo Alparcovega projekta Mladi na vrhu (Youth at the Top) organiziramo skupaj z našimi prijatelji iz italijanskega naravnega parka Julijske Predalpe smo poimenovali Skupaj / Insieme, Krn 2015. Glavna tema srečanja bo medvedovo življenje, udeleženci pa bodo spoznali tudi druge pomembne značilnosti območja pod Krnom, kjer bomo na planini Kuhinja (991 m) tudi nastanjeni. Udeleženci obeh držav oziroma zavarovanih območij bomo skupaj spoznavali markanto živalsko vrsto, kakršna je medved, ki se v svojem vsakdanu ne ozira na državno mejo in je kot tak od nas vseh.

L’iniziativa denominate Skupaj / Insieme. Krn 2015 è organizzata congiuntamente dal Parco nazionale del Triglav e dal Parco naturale regionale delle Prealpi Giulie nell’ambito del progetto Youth at the Top di Alparc. Il principale tema dell’attività, che si svolgerà presso la planina Kuhinja, 991 m, sotto il Monte Nero (Krn), sarà la vita dell’orso, ma i partecipanti avranno modo di conoscere altre caratteristiche significative dell’area. I giovani provenienti da aree protette vicine impareranno come una specie così importante non si interessi in alcun modo di confini nazionali esistenti.

What is Youth at the Top?

Youth at the Top is a project which mobilize groups of young people at a common annual date, in an active, civic process, with a symbolic and imaginative approach.

Youth at the Top is  foremost an international project: a collective action organized simultaneously in the Alpine countries (Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland), which aims to create links between the different countries and symbolically go beyond administrative and language barriers by considering the Alps as a sole region.

For the 10th Edition of Youth at the Top, which will take place on July 18th 2024 (and the night of the 18th-19th), groups of young people will meet in several protected areas and natural sites throughout the Alps and Carpathians in order to share a physical, human, cultural and artistic collective experience in the mountains. This year's activities will be organized around the common theme "Alpine Flowers and pollinator Insects".

Why Youth at the Top?

All over the Alps, people are disturbed by the lack of young people in the mountains, notably in summer. Are the mountains boring?
People are beginning to realize that our children and our young people are short of nature. Has contact with nature become a waste of time? Omnipresent screens, hectic lifestyles, no more room to simply go out and discover the nature.

From France to Slovenia, the Alpine protected areas are very keen to recreate or strengthen the link between mountain nature and young people from here and elsewhere. Because living in the Alps does not necessarily mean knowing the region and traveling all over it. Because mountaineering means education. Because the young people of our areas are also our discussion partners and tomorrow’s players, and also because it is quite simply vital for every human being to have regular contact with nature.

So, along with many other activities and projects, we have together imagined an original way to take young people of the Alps to experience the mountains, spend a night up there, and rediscover the power of being a group and the values of citizenship and solidarity. A collective operation rich in symbolism: Youth at the Top!

All’interno della settimana di trekking dedicato alla conoscenza delle aree protette e all’apprendimento della lingua inglese "Giroparchi Nature Trail", il giovedì 16 luglio, i ragazzi effettueranno un’uscita in notturna; attraverso il solo ausilio della frontale e sfruttando la luce naturale della luna, i ragazzi scopriranno la natura circostante creando giochi di luce suggestivi. L’attività sarà ripresa e/o fotografata così da immortalare le immagini e disegni creati dai ragazzi.
